ADJUSTABLE DETECTION SPECTRUM WITH A DEEPERS METAL DETECTOR
The spectacular SDA System (System of Adjustable Detection) of the Deepers' detectors

Any metallic object that passes underneath this spectrum cone will be detected. As you move the search coil over the ground, the spectrum irradiates deeply into the soil whether you are on soft soil, rock, minerals or metals if they are present. Each detector has its own spectrum depending on its very precise characteristics taking into account the type of detector, the coil used and its form. The detectors VLF offer a much smaller spectrum and emerge from the head and are prolonged in the form of a tube or a tipped down cone. The signal penetration of soil on this type of detectors does not go deeper than 25 to 35 cm.
The Deepers MF and the new Deepres X5 offers a revolutionary SDA (Spectrum of adjustable detection), unique in this category..
The SDA system permits rapid exploration in extensive areas to prospect without having to go directly over the top of the target to be detected even if the target is situated over 20 or 30 cm away from the head.
When the target is localized, the only thing you have to do is reduce the area of the spectrum of detection to pinpoint the exact location of the object.

In this example, using the head of the VLF detector, we can see that the spectrum of detection is reduced and fixed. This does not permit the localization of a gold coin to the left or a silver pitcher to the right, being targets ignored by the detector if they are not exactly underneath the head.
Spectrum of Adjustable Detection of the Deepers' detectors
We clearly see in this image that the gold coin or the silver pitch are within the perimeter of the zone of influence of the detection spectrum, these would be perfectly localized with any Deepers' detector, thanks to its SDA (adjustable detection spectrum) system. At the moment that a target is found, you only have to reduce the audio-threshold to minimum; this will have the effect of automatically diminishing the zone of the spectrum to minimum to precisely pinpoint the target.
